I learned today of the untimely death of a friend of mine – Willy.

Willy worked as an Engineer on yachts in the South of France but I knew him for over 10 years as a musician in various different bands in which he played.

I don’t think any of his closer friends would disagree that music was what brought Willy to life and Willy’s music made our evenings more enjoyable.

I will never forget the Jam sessions at the Kings Head and more recently at Slammers – these would never have happened without Willy and will continue I am sure in his memory.

I will miss you Willy I know I am not alone.
