Ridiculous fine for Drink Drive Footballer

August 28th, 2009

I am astonished by the £600 fine that has been given to footballer David Bentley after he admitted drinking and driving.
In 1987 I was fined £200 for speeding at 100mph on the motorway, I did not have an accident and had not been drinking.
At the time I was 26 years old and earning £17,000 per annum and the magistrate said that if it had not been for a reference letter from my employer saying I required the car for work I would also have received a ban.

How then 22 years later can a 24 year old footballer earning more in a week than I was earning in a year having crashed his car after drinking and driving be given a fine which is propably less than one hours pay.

I notice he admitted drinking and driving – little difficult to deny when his Porsche was wrapped around a lamppost. He apparantly parked his car at the train station and was going to get a taxi home, however he decided later that he did not want to leave the car (when pissed remember) so drove ( into a lamppost).

Apparantly “adverse press coverage of the incident had been distressing for him and his family” – So? What about the distress he could have caused if he had hit a pedestrian instead of a lamppost.

By the way how do you manage to hit a lamppost after drinking four pints and two spirit measures – just a thought!

Al in all bloody ridiculous, I know he has also been fined by his club and supposedly lost a sponsorship deal but a publican would lose his job and career for a similar offence.

CPA Arbitrage By Chris Cobb

April 26th, 2009

I have just received notification of a brand new product to be launched on 28th Of April, 2009 At 12pm EST.

The product is CPA Arbitrage by Chris Cobb and Saj P. and claims to provide all the backgound, explanations, tools, links and resources necessary to succeed with CPA (Cost Per Action Marketing).

I have been able to preview the product and will outline its contents below but before then, if you don’t know what CPA marketing is and how it differs from CPC or CPM visit Ahmet KIRTOKs blog post of Dec 9th – What is CPA Marketing as he does a much better job than I could of explaining it.

I have dabbled with CPA over the years but have never really given it my full attention as I have been focussing on other business models. And whilst undeniably millions of dollars in commissions are made every year with CPA it is as with most models extremely complicated to the outsider and difficult to know where to start.

Chris Cobb the author of CPA Arbitrage is an Internet Marketer with a huge online experience.

You might remember him from about 2 years ago when he launched Duvet Dollars, which showed people how to attack any niche market using AdWords. Since then he has quit Adwords and gone underground to focus very successfully on the CPA market.

The CPA Arbitrage is a complete guide on making money with CPA Marketing.

CPA Arbitrage

CPA Arbitrage

It covers it from both angles:

1. Making money from CPA Marketing as a Product Owner and
2. Making money from CPA Marketing as an Affiliate.

Chris is going to show you everything he did to make millions of dollars online with the CPA Market.

The product comes with a PDF guide and a video series.

In the PDF Guide Chris Outlines:

* Why CPA is SO MUCH MORE PROFITABLE than traditional affiliate marketing…
* How to get accepted onto any CPA network and start making money immediately!
* REVEALED: The TOP 5 CPA Networks – Don’t waste your time searching for the best networks. They’re all here!
* Which CPA offers you should be choosing if you want to make big money…
* His Top 5 CPA promotional methods – find out the best ways to drive traffic to your offers.

In The Video Series you’ll learn:

* The Cost Per Lead model – list-building on steroids – and how he gets 7,000 – 8,000 leads EVERY DAY!
* How to make sure you ‘hook up’ your sales funnel to make the most of EVERY lead…
* Why it PAYS to lose money in order to acquire a customer… and how you can control the number of customers you get and why you might even have to TURN THEM AWAY!
* The importance of the UPSELL process… and how to monetize YOUR list to the max…
* How to track which leads are paying and which leads are costing you money… and why you MUST be doing this if you want to make cpa work!

Is it worth buying?

I have just finished reading the intro PDF Guide which is 76 pages long and full of useful information and resources for anyone wanting to start a business in CPA. If you already have a CPA marketing business you may pick up some tips and techniques that you have not seen before, I really don’t know. However at $77 and with an 8 week no questions asked refund guarantee I think that anyone interested in CPA should give it a try.

Check out the CPA Arbitrage Site for more information NOW.

Good luck and keep the faith,

Damian

French Cosmetics and Marketing in a Foreign Language

April 25th, 2009

Marketing in any high profile niche is difficult but if the prices and products are good enough we can over the long term build a very successfull business.

I am currently helping a French Entrepreneur launch his successful offline distribution businesses on the internet. The first to go live is a Cosmetics and Hair Care Site and the Professional Cosmetics Site and Discount Quality Summer Clothing Site
are in development and will be live shortly.

The difference here is that these are French language sites which I am helping tanslate to English. Don’t believe the programs that claim to do translations for you, it would be like using a foreign language magazine which changed its page titles to English but left the copy in the original language to try to market your products in USA.

This has however opened my eyes to the opportunity of marketing to Non English Speaking Markets. As we all know using up to date IM techniques to market to non IM Niches allows us to gain a huge advantage over the competition.

Imagine applying those same techniques to find profitable niches in underdeveloped foreign language markets.

I have the advantage of being fluent in French and English and up to date with IM marketing skills however I can honestly say that I have rarely if ever seen an IM manual or training program offered in any other language than English.

Imagine if you could have been the first Guru to publish an Ebook on Adwords in English, or a how to create a membership site in English – Or even the 100th!!!!

If anyone is interested in discussing this further and entering into a partnership, or if you want to try out a French site send me a comment or email we can build a business/JV together.

Don’t forget one of the richest per capita Countries in the world is Monaco, which is French speaking and also where I live.

Send me an email at damian@RivieraAds.com

Good luck and keep the faith

Damian

If you have any comments on the sites mentioned above please leave a message below. Our aim is to help everyone enjoy and benefit from the internet but in order to do so we need your feedback.
