About Damian
My name is Damian and this is my Blog.
I am originally from Liverpool in England but after several years working around the UK I moved to Monaco in 1988 and have been here more or less ever since.
I am a qualified accountant but over the years have drifted more into organisation and administration and until September 2005 I was General Manager of the Rascasse Bar/Restaurant in Monaco.
Anyone who knows the Grand Prix will know the Rascasse, it has a corner named after it! (or should that be a car park?)
As well as being one of the greatest places in the world to watch a Grand Prix it is also one of the busiest night spots in Monaco with Live Music and/or DJs until 5 every morning all year round.
But during the Grand Prix weekend in May each year it is overflowing….. and even the Ferraris cannot park!
Since leaving the Rascasse at the end of 2005 amongst other things I have been researching and reviewing the enigma that is the internet. My initial purpose was to keep myself busy, learn some web design, try to undestand how it was all held together and perhaps make some income on the side.
However as I spent more time researching I found a lot more than just web tools and marketing tools. I found sites dedicated to self improvement, hypnotism, NLP, market research, influence and persuasion and many other topics and I discovered that there were common themes running through them all. The same terms kept coming up and the same authors kept being quoted.
It became clear that most of us are progammed not to succeed but to accept our role as moulded by our experiences and environment and by what we have been told by others (often to keep us in control). In order to really succeed at anything we have to challenge the limiting beliefs that we have accepted as fact for most of our lives. We have to set goals, and in order to achieve those goals we have to first become the person who can achieve those goals.
The deeper I delved the clearer I could see and the more opportunities came into view.
My primary goal now is to, through the development of multiple sources of income, become financially secure enough that I will never have to accept being treated as a second class citizen by someone just because they control my income.
I will during my blogging refer to some of the material that I have read and if you get the opportunity look it up and read it with an open mind you may be surprised what you find. Any comments or similar recommendations will be welcomed.
I will also be reviewing and promoting income generating opportunities and tools to assist you in income generation on the internet. In some cases I will be an affiliate for the products I am promoting and will earn commissions if you order from my link. If I believe that a product is of value to a particular market, I will try to promote it to that market and will take the commissions that are due. I will not promote any product if I do not believe it is of value to a particuilar market.
If anyone has positive or negative feedback on any products please post a comment or link me to your blog or article.
