Another PPC Resource for your toolkit

I have finally decided to try some of Googles PPC competitors, I was going to start with Yahoo! but whilst looking through Commission Junction came across Enhance Interactive who seemed to offer a slightly different angle.

It is too early to see any results yet but the sign up process and ad creation was simple enough and the cost per click should be considerably less than Google.

According to their own publicity:

“Enhance Interactive is a full service pay-per-click network used by customers to extend the reach of their paid search campaigns beyond major search engines.

Why Enhance Interactive?
Access to Billions of Search Queries

Enhance Interactive delivers traffic that is complimentary to that of the major search engines. Our vast network of select search engines, including Dogpile, Snap, and Verisign, and over 200,000 vertically-focused Web sites is specifically designed to deliver billions of queries and ROI at value prices.
Lower Prices

Enhance Interactive simply delivers more clicks to your Web site for less money. With a low minimum click price of only $.03, Enhance Interactive offers a tremendous pay-per-click advertising value. It can be quite expensive competing with advertisers with nearly unlimited budgets on the larger search engines.
A Company You Can Trust

You can rest easy knowing that you are doing business with a stable and reliable company. Enhance Interactive has been providing pay-per-click advertising services since 1999. We are consistently rated by analysts, media and our own customers as a cost-effective pay-per-click solution that drives ROI. We have industry-leading management and an experienced account management team dedicated to helping you meet your search marketing goals.

Tired of customer support “links” and computerized “self-service” phone systems? At Enhance Interactive we provide all of our customers – big or small – with personalized account care from our experienced account managers. Your account manager will provide you with a direct telephone number and email address to ensure you receive the help and support you deserve. “

They appear to offer a complementary service to the others which should lead to increased returns. I will give you an update in a few weeks.

I am thinking of using enhance. How were your results? Any other feedback?
    Thanks

Sorry I was so long coming back to you but I was away in New York with family over Xmas and only just got back into the swing of things.

Unfortunately after making this post I ended up travelling for the best part of the rest of the year and have not as yet had enough data to make a definite decision. I have made a few sales (from the only ad I placed) but costs are slightly higher than revenues at this point. I would stress that is more likely to me not testing and changing my ad or optimising it for the enhance system rather than enhance itself.

I am now fully back in the fold and the next few months should prove to be very interesting. I will be making regular posts (not like last year) and launching some more niche and topic specific blogs.

If you are doing any AdWords PPC you should really check out Simon Leung’s AdWords Listbuilding Course at: http://viralurl.com/damian/ListBuilding

I spent quite some time with Simon at the end of last year and he made the whole PPC jungle a lot clearer. He is currently giving away a number of Internet Marketing Reports at:

There is an upsell but for the price even that is great value.

I will be testing enhance more thoroughly between now and mid Feb and will post my results as soon as they are clear. If you have any observations or questions about other topics please let me know.
